I can’t put on a balaclava in a bank or while crossing the borders or at the airport. This law goes further than that. Nobody is arguing against what you said. So, I don’t know what you’re on about. I’m a Canadian and I think you need to read a bit and do your homework if you want to argue about it. Actually Quebec law can’t go above The Charter of Rights and Freedoms. You don’t even need to bring religion into it. It violates freedom of expression.

Freedom of expression? I can’t wear a motorcycle helmet into a bank or on an airplane so get your BS violation out of here! But this makes sense. When you access services that require identification, how else can you identify whether it’s the same people on the ID and the one standing before you if you can’t see his/her face? The ID is worthless by then. Just because your mum and dad migrated there and gave you an english name that doesn’t mean you get license to be offensive to others kid. Religious freedom is the law. That’s the point.
