I was making a comment, tongue in cheek.  Good greefs mine gots their own dam pool ! an they eat with the cats an never touch the garbage. theyl come to the screen to tell me the dam foods empty. A Raccoon is an animal from hell! A cat with THUMBS! Has an entirely additional concept of what he can do (cats understand “gripping and turning” as well as other complex tasks.

But they lack the grip with which to really get into trouble)! Really tough subject….. I get that they are gorgeous animals and you may be giving them an easy meal but there are so many reasons why, in the long run, it is not good for them. I won’t get into the reasons… google it and you’ll find a slue of information on it. If Fish and Game, Wildlife, etc believed it would aide in the longevity of the species, they would encourage it.. truly. It would make their jobs a whole lot easier. There are a whole lot of folks much more educated about the effects of feeding wildlife than the general public.

They do allow bird feeders (in most states anyway) and I’m sure there are probably other exceptions but (from what I’ve learned) most other, larger, more natural nature dependent animals., not so much. My two cents.. I respect all opinions so please don’t blast mine.. it’s just an opinion like yours. You won’t be able to cast it in an emergency. If you’re setting up a branched hoselay, it will take two times as long as you can’t just throw the hose ending to its final destination before being connected with a splitter and further down the main line.
