All i had was an old one. He was rude and just wanted to write the ticket and get out of there. I think i spoiled his fun for the day. What an asshole. I almost felt like apologizing for being a white middle aged female he was so mad. Now i know what it’s like to be profiled, that is, my truck was profiled.  There are still good cops out there but there is a lot of trash mixed in. But if they cleaned up the force and got rid of the bad apples, their reputation would go way up. We also need to be sinking lots more money into training. That would help more than anything. Behavior is important as to not put yourself in a situation where it warrants police intervention. Don’t fuck with the police and they won’t fuck with you.

On the other hand, police recruitment policies need a longer training program and three key components must be thoroughly vetted…. Intelligence, empathy and decency. This hasn’t been tried before, it may actually work. Never forget that the boys in blue protect and serve the state’s interests. Not yours or mine unless it suits them.  I admire you. Unfortunately , the black men’s fear is legitimate! It’s sad they’re terrified ,and ya know what else erks me, is some emt,s and police can’t even go into neighborhoods to help victims, because they are afraid of being highjacked or murdered!

So let ,as a whole, end this shit! Put the fucking guns down.  We need more police officers like that who don’t leave a bad taste in your mouth. There has been to much racial profiling and police brutality. You are to be commended officer as this young man will have learned a valuable lesson taught the right way.  I think it’s quite ironic when a group of people get mad when others attach a stereotype to them and become indignant and then they do the same to others but that’s ok?!?!

Until everyone is accountable for their actions, nothing will change. Someone has to be first. And if anyone thinks the media is blameless then we are all in very deep trouble.  I agree completely. It is so crazy how we could be in 2017 and there is still so much confusion as to skin color. White , black, yellow or purple with polka dots. God made man. Humans. We need to look at each other with respect.

If you are good then your good if your bad then maybe you need to be reminded when you’ve done wrong. Color doesn’t automatically mean anything. Look at each other as god sees us. Individually. Love thy neighbor people. My son was coming home from work and the door was jammed, again. So he was knocking on the window. Cops surrounded and handcuffed him. Knocking him on the Think Chemical Elements Shirt, there were at least 6 cops on him face on the floor.
