If it’s christmas then it’s merry christmas for those who celebrate christmas, for those who don’t it’s nothing to them so no difference, they are just lucky to get a holiday. If it’s eid it’s eid mubarak etc, just say the name of what you celebrate. I would never say holidays. Well done pres, trump and melaine for showing to the world the true meaning of christmas ,god bless you all. Ok … So trump’s family wrote a 1 liner and merry christmas… & christmas is back?  Obama and his family put more personality behind their card and actually took the time to write something of substance. I think that’s what we should really focus on in the difference… Or just not focus on it at all… Seriously? I hate trump, but this is ridiculous. To me, it’s just christmas. To the jewish, it’s hanukkah, so they say happy hanukkah, etc. To get insulted by this is ridiculous. There are bigger issues to discuss. The only problem is thoes christians..ect who are toddlers throwing hissy fits if you don’t use anything other then happy holidays or merry christmas i mean if he said happy hanukkah instead of merry christmas people would be very livid which is why i say happy holidays it’s just respectful towards the other holidays you do realize christmas lands on the 25th it’s not the entire month of december.

Funny, i’ve celebrated christmas every single year. Didn’t even realize it left. Oh, that’s because it didn’t, some folks just evolved enough to realize christmas isn’t the only holiday being celebrated. Daily mail is always confused. What is generic and politically correct? Is it not merry christmas and happy new year? Which holidays are you talking about? Leave trump alone!

I don’t understand why people think the phrase “happy holidays” was coined to specifically exclude christmas when it is intended to encompass all holidays (including christmas) during this time of year. It is meant to be an inclusive, pleasant greeting and to wish others well regardless of religious affiliation. Why does kindness have to be perceived as political correctness? Personally, i welcome either expression, as i know they both convey warmth and kindness.

For those of us ” dumb folks ” silly enough to respect other nationalities , other religions not enjoined in the capitalist celebration of christs birth or folks of the other faiths simply having other holidays coincidal with christmas we are , they are , appreciative of a wish or greeting of the season .  He was a muslim that’s why afraid to say merry christmas. Fall out with all his friends isis and all the rest of them. And trumps writing is fantastic isn’t it.not typed like obamas ?? The world has gone mad.
