I was a RN for about 30 years. I worked through that time when nothing was known about auto-immune disease and fibro was thought to ‘just be in your head’. My life was drastically changed in 2008 when my auto-immune conditions and fibro finally took me out. To make matters worse it was in 2008 during the financial collapse. I lost everything-my identity and retirement.

While I do push thru it it just gives me some more fire to do it! And on a side note I am sure she has seen a tremendous amount of doctors, but her pain reminds me of my moms…she had RSD and it started after a major surgery.

This was such an insightful documentary. It reminds us that celebrities are just as human as us. Suffering from some of the same physical and emotional challenges. For me, seeing Gaga push thru chronic pain like that is an inspiration as I suffer from similar chronic pain.
