Yes why not. So if my kid wants to dress up as her hero and he or she is a different color than she is than some how that’s not right. I just don’t get it. It’s important for children to admire and emulate role models of all different races and ethnicities. Very regressive to discourage that. Why is this even a question? If children arent taught to discriminate there would be no need for this bull.

Let your child be a child for as long as possible. It’s idiotic questions like this that encourage seeing differences that innocent children don’t see. Children see others as people, period! There is no such thing as cultural appropriation your just making a big deal out of nothing. Who cares!

Skin color has nothing to do with this. Kids can dress up as whoever they want to… They don’t see race. Now wether their parents will allow them is a totally different story. Oh dear lord all i can say is that was pretty stupid to ask that question. The answer is well of course their kids let them have fun.

Children can dress up for halloween like whomever they want. Their parents or guardians are paying for the costume so they are the only ones who have a say.
