I don’t know who these fathers were that spent only 5 minutes a day with their kids. Not my dad. So sick of it, and i’m a woman! I grew up in the 50s and 60s, and my dad must have been ahead of his time. He spent as much or more time with me as my mom did, taking me to work with him on weekends, then to lunch — just him and me.

He took me fishing and horseback riding, and on sundays we all spent time with family and had family excursions to the zoo, the library, etc. Thank god for good dads.  Nonsense, i was born in 54′ and although my dad worked hard he always made time for me and my brother.
