I think it depends on how one views and defines the role of a dad. In africa, dads are expected to play an whole round role to include, priesthood, bread winner, Vote For Jefferson Shirt to say a few. There are many fathers who excel but there are alot more who fail.

So for me, i think depending on how one views the roles of a dad, and if the mum has stepped in the gap, i would say to all mom there, “happy father’s day”. That’s so true. Happy fathers day to all the women who have to be both mother and father.  Well i don’t think he’s my sons hero cause he left him n never has came back bout 8 years my son was 6 now is 13 n i heard he had a daughter now i feel sorry for that poor lil girl. All that matters is i love my son i will never leave him by chose.

Yes women are the back bones of a family we can do it all that’s what we are equipped for when the men step up then they can have their day until then i’m gonna continue to celebrate fathers and mother’s day.  Two parents , like two eyes , help bring depth to a child’s upbringing.

There are no things only a woman can teach or a man can teach. Other than the act of reproduction gender itself doesn’t matter. Yet having only one parent is like being blind in one eye. You can live that way , but life is better with both. As a single mother who was raised by a loving Vote For Jefferson Shirt breaks my heart my children don’t have that.
