If you had asked me a few weeks ago whether or not Casanova was a real person, I would have said probably but may not have been certain. I ran across many references to him when I was researching Venice and Carnevale.Our talk segments for The Walking Dead Just Do It Shirt show have to be short but I did give an interesting summary of the man whose name is synonymous with “ladies man.” Merriam defines “Casanova” as a man who is a promiscuous and unscrupulous lover.” But the Free Dictionary is more accurate according to Casanova’s own autobiography…’a man who is amorously and gallantly attentive to women.” Casanova made women feel valued especially for their intellect.
