My biggest concern was Emma playing Belle, she’s a beauty, but she’s a very stern actress, but I have to say so far, she’s Belle. All I Want For Christmas Is Dogs And Wine Shirt. I’m so excited for this, and being old enough to have gone to see Disney’s animated BATB… I can’t wait to see this!!  I still prefer the original / animated Disney version of “Beauty and the Beast”, but I believe that I’ll probably watch this new version anyway(s) (regardless of my own personal impressions of it).

I’m sorry I love beauty and the beast and I just cannot bring myself to accept that they chose Harry Potter girl to play Belle. she does not fit the part of Belle at all…not to mention… what is with the accent! Belle is from France! Not the U.K. That shoulda been nipped in the bud before shooting even took place. very disappointed with the casting team. I’m not saying Emma isn’t awesome, because she is.

But she is not Belle! I am so disappointed with the casting. At least they could have found someone who looked even slightly like Belle. Watson does not, unfortunately. Alyssa Anderson where did you read anyone including myself say that she was not beautiful? Or anything super “nasty” as you say about her. I just feel that this role was not meant for her. She just does not fit it. I’m sorry if that angers you but it’s just an opinion.

No one is saying she is ugly. So relax. Linnea Sternefält exactly! Thank you! When I look at her I just do not see Belle… I mean the girl is a great actor! Just not belle… and definitely doesn’t look like her . Casting was lazy I feel. ack: What difference does it make what Watson is in real life?
