I was originally drawn to Taylor by her Fearless album songs. Most All I Want For Christmas Is Theroux Sweater were great romantic songs, as were most of the songs on her third and first album. The other songs about other ares of life were so well written, they brought tears to my eyes. The lyrics were clearly spoken and the themes easily understood. Two of the songs were clearly written in the negative about two people in particular, but I amusingly shrugged it off as having been written by a teenager who was still a little insecure.

Agreed people are privileged these days. When I was a teenager all you could buy where physical copies of CDs and then upload them to your iPod. People have a want it now view on everything. I was born in 1990 so disc-man’s and tape cassettes were how we enjoyed our tunes. I’m not made of money either, I’m a broke writer but I still choose to support all my favorite artists.

Only reason that I’m not buying the album on ITunes is the fact that there’s no PDF booklet. As for physical album, call me crazy, but it can happen that the album will be included with the ticket(s) purchase. I’m in no rush of buying it. That being said, I did preview all the songs and it sounds very interesting. Much better than I thought it was going to be. And the reviews from critics have been very good so far.

before I really start to feel it because I have to connect with the lyrics. So at first I didn’t even like Call it what you want. Now I’ve got it on repeat. The album isn’t about blaming others, if you read the lyrics to almost all the songs on the album, they are self reflective, this is the most focused, self analysing, reflective album shes ever done. Its more about what happens when you stop trying to be perfect and just show everyone who you are. Read the lyrics, it changes things alot.

I hope she moves on from this phase into something better. I’d like to see her tackle writing and starring in a movie musical, for example. The more I listen the more meaningful it becomes. The lyrics are a little drowned out by all the “production” but the Lyricist Taylor is still kicking. I usually have to listen to a song ten or so times.

Her lifestyle gave her the title of “America’s Sweetheart.” It was nice to have someone in the All I Want For Christmas Is Theroux Sweater world like that. She used to hug everyone. She proclaimed that she recognized that she was helping bring up the next generation with her music and that consequently she should be careful with her lyrics. Oh well, I guess that is over. On some of her songs on subsequent albums, the lyrics became harder to understand without reading them and they became more vengeful, sarcastic and obscure. Some of the videos became quite violent and now she is starting to swear. I’m still not ready to buy the sixth album.
