I get tired of lazy journalism and to allow this article to print without someone checking whether the picture corresponded with the subject matter was inexcusable. The guy who designed the billboard did nothing but apologise the whole weekend. No point in throwing a strop and taking it down.It got a mention in the Times Malta as it was such a daft mistake which no one noticed till the billboards were up.  well done Mark and others who’ve contributed so far. JJ used to write to me way back and I loved the man’s huge soul. When I finally met him I wasn’t disappointed and he is an immense character in every way.

I spend most of my free time in my garden growing vegetables that my family eats and my lifestyle is pretty simple.I am not reaching out for sympathy as I am happy with my lot and thankfully I have a roof over my head and can pay the bills. I’ve had a pretty good life and I’m eternally grateful for the opportunities I have been given. I can’t afford to pay JJ’s problems off without stressing my own problems.

I Between the conflicting Want To Fish Shirt story coupled with the horrific Las Vegas mass shooting, it has been a very tragic news day here in the States with bulletins coming in fast, furious and confusing from all sides. Condolences go out to the families and loved ones of the innocent victims in this heartless tragedy in Vegas.
