 i almost feel like it could have been cleaner if you cut off some of Roadrunner Anthony Signature Shirt, A Film About Anthony Bourdain Shirt that at the end the testimonies were powerful don’t get me wrong. but i do not think the direction and the pacing to this documentary was as strong in that last chunk versus the first half of the movieso overall you guys road runner. a film about anthony bourdain is going to be one of those documentaries that will stick with you for a long time if you’re a huge fan of anthony bourdainhowever i don’t know if it’s gonna have that lasting appeal to it. there’s not too much of a re-watchability factor here and that’s not a negative for the filmbut what i’m saying is that nothing about this documentary is making me tell you right now drop everything and go watch it because it’s that second half that just doesn’t sit well with me. but yes there are beautiful visuals hereand i do love a lot of the testimonies and anthony bourdain as a human being getting to know more about him. was a treat in and of itself and i will tell you that there’s a loti didn’t know that went on behind the scenes for the show.

they or i should say his friends some of them at least were picking out from what it sounded like his ex-girlfriend aja argento and that to me should not have been the focusi do think that the directing there might have been a little flawed. i feel like it would have been stronger to Roadrunner Anthony Signature Shirt, A Film About Anthony Bourdain Shirt  just focus on the what and how it madehis friends and family feel but instead the documentary tries to solve the mystery of why he committed suicide and that doesn’t work for me and outside of that technical and storytelling flaw guys. i did feel even disconnected with the documentary at the end which is weird because in that first half like i said there was this intimate feel and approach to this documentary where i couldn’t take my eyes off the screenbut again i do think it’s because this documentary has this overbearing focus on. the why to anthony’s death it does feel like it bogs down the documentary itself and honestly at the end things were being drawn out a little too muchi don’t know necessarily if this documentary needed to be almost two hours.

 it was a lotyou know it almost felt overwhelming and it was incredibly powerful to witness what we were watching on screen and then coupling that with the testimonies of those in his inner circle. yeah it was a lot. it was just tough to stomach that downward spiral of his life at the end and man yes they do put a good emphasis on mental health and different methods like therapy and they do a good job at trying to destigmatize that especially in the final 30 minutes. but boyif you’re in a movie theater and you don’t have the luxury to pause this and take a breath. i can only imagine the impact it’ll have on you versus me where i had that luxury of pausing and trying to thinkokay time out. i gotta process everything i just listened to and heard and for all the good that this documentary does roadrunner does have a very weak second half now this is exactly the start of my issues with this documentary from a technical standpoint. i think the material also kind of goes in a Roadrunner Anthony Signature Shirt, A Film About Anthony Bourdain Shirt weird direction we’ll talk
