I thought the mix between actual plot and storyline went perfectly with the comedy of Eddie Murphy in addition the Beverly Hills Cop Shirt, Beverly Hills Bills Shirt chemistry between Murphy Reinhold and Ashton was superb and the trio works well off one another making you really want to see them through to the end of the story and. while I absolutely think the comedic punch of this movie was great and provided many laughs when it came down to the storyline itselfI think the tum delivered that of a pure 80s action film. and I think Murphy was able to portray a believable action star which in my opinion is a major factor of the success in this movie not so much the comedy. I thought the well choreographed and grounded action sequences kept a realistic feeling without going overboard like many of the decades were known to do and I thought the camerawork was excellent and the final result was. some quality gunplay in car chases mixed in with just tons of laughter Steven Berkoff is the antagonist for this movie worked excellenthe was able to give the character an evil vibe while still looking very comfortable in the lavish society of Beverly Hills and. in other words he was the perfect 80s action moviebad guy.
